Hi Woodsy,
as promised, here are some photos of Hot Wheels Batmobiles. All are from the Mainline, and can be found in any shop selling Hot Wheels models, although they go really fast so grab them or miss out.
The first official Star Cars in the Hot Wheels Mainline were four Batmobiles released in 2004, which were scattered throughout the range. Only one was a real Batmobile, the 1989 movie car.
The others were based on a toy from the large action figure line by Mattel, and a pair of caricatures in the Hardnoze and Crooze ranges. These had huge noses and tiny tails, or very long trails and short noses. The classic 1966 TV car appeared in 2007.
From 2010 new releases became more frequent, and in 2013 they were grouped together in a special Batman sub-series of five models. The line-up changes each year, with a mix of new models and re-issues.
Most models have been issued in a variety of colours, with further differences in wheels, transparency colours, and extra coloured trim. The range includes a mix of TV, film, cartoon, and computer game models.
1 The classic 1966 TV Batmobile first appeared in 2007, in an authentic colour scheme.
2 This 2019 version of the George Barris Batmobile is covered with blue flames.
3 The Tumbler entered the Mainline in 2014, having previously been included in a Hot Wheels premium range. It has appeared in both its original military camouflage, and as the Batmobile.
4 From Batman - The Animated Series comes a Batmobile, released in 2018; and the Batplane released in 2020.
5 The Batplane does not have wheels, and comes on a small stand resembling the Hot Wheels ribbon.
6 The Brave and the Bold cartoon Batmobile was released in 2010. This version, in the same colours as The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, dates from 2019.
