I've always liked toy cameras. Ever since I got one in the Secret Sam attache case back in the spy-crazy Sixties.
here's a neat set I saw online, Travelling Sets by Linda.
There's a pretty cool camera, sunglasses and binoculars, which appear to slot into the glasses!
I can't tell if its a working camera or whether its just a viewer full of pictures like the one shown.
Did you have a toy camera?
PS. I think we may have come across Linda before. They made Apollo Spacers, knockoffs of Tri-ang Spacex as featured for example in 2018 by Wotan
Not sure of the two Lindas are the same though. You?
The card says it takes pictures on 120 film, which was an actual film type of the kind used in smaller, cheaper, sometimes disposable holiday cameras of the 60s and 70s, so it probably took shots.
ReplyDeleteMish.
Thanks for that Mish. You have better eyes than me. So it really does take pics. My Secret Sam camera did too but I never took any snaps with it for some reason.
DeleteNot sure if the two Lindas are the same, but the latter Linda made also this simple flying saucer toy with a very nice backing card, blogged before
