TERRANOVA47'S HORROR VIDEO DESIGNS

Further to your occasional Horror theme I offer these video jackets. 

One of my freelance clients back in the late 80's was SONY VIDEO (USA). In order to have 'content' in their sales catalog they would buy all sorts of productions that they had no hand in producing. 

Back in the late 60's Boris Karloff near the end of his career acted in a number of Mexican movies, they may even have been shown as TV Movies in the US. 

I designed a few of these sleeves using art provided by the studio that produced the shows. 

For some reason someone at SONY decided to changed the colour of Karloffs name on these before they reached the printer. I consider the design to be more horrific than the movies. 

The good thing about the assignments from Sony were they paid double as they sold both BETAMAX and VHS.
