I've hundreds of old magazines in the loft. I used to buy them individually for myself on Saturdays and sometimes in job lots for my old toy and memorabilia stall. I will have to get shut at some point if I don't want the ceiling to cave in!
The one of the left above is Star Voyager, an unusual glossy that sank without trace. I can't find any reference to it online. This is issue number 1 and concerns itself with all the things we like: Mars Attacks, jet cars and Marvel at the movies among much more.
Do you remember Star Voyager?

so you probably have a some sort of rarity there, Woodsy! I have a penchant for all kinds of one-offs, intentional or otherwise, so your mag is right down my alley.
Fantastic research Arto! I had no idea it was a one-off! Oddly enough the cover always made me think of the Star Maidens annual cover. Has that got circles on the front?
DeleteI can just see a copy of Sci Fi and fantasy models in that photo. I've written articles in some of those!
ReplyDeleteHave you Kev? Wow! There's two Sci Fi and Fantasy Model magazines coming up soon. What did you write about?
DeleteOh, I did articles on some of my models, some of my Blakes7 props were in there, as well as my Nomad replica and a Space1999 laser.
