I do like a good Monster Size chart and this You Tube one is quite neat as its 3D.
Its always fascinating to see which monsters get included in these charts.
I reckon its an age thing.
Baby boomers like me would also include B-movie beasts like Ymir, Reptilicus, Gorgo, Gwangi and Tarantula. Oh, and maybe the Kraken.
What would you include and can you beat the biggest monster's size?
Very interesting.I think I might throw in another dragon, say Vermithrax from Dragonslayer.I thing they have the biggest of the big here. The only thing I can think of that competes for the biggest would be the new anime Godzilla from Planet of Monsters,in the neighborhood of 1000 feet tall.
ReplyDeleteI love talking about monsters Brian. Great stuff. I will have to check out the anime Godzilla. Its on Netflix, which I have free for a month. Saw Cloverfield Paradox. There's something huge lurking!
DeleteI was looking forward to a theatrical release of Cloverfield, but se' la vie.Rampage looks to be the next big monster blockbuster, fingers crossed.Already got the toys.
ReplyDeleteI should mention that Paul from Cobwebbed Room seems to be posting again.I have already left an encouraging message in the comments section.Perhaps you and some others can do the same.
DeleteExcellent. Just read his new post. Glad he's back and I've let him know tooo. Thanks for the tip Bri. We need more cobwebs!
