Hi Woodsy and crew.
Here's some of my indoor Halloween decorations.
I have gathered up a bunch of Dept.56 porcelain village pieces over the years and they have evolved into a spooky pirate village and a Transylvanian village.
There are a few Universal monsters hiding in both villages!
I also incorporate a few other icons, such as the Peanuts and, oddly enough, Star Wars into my decorations.
If the rain ends, I will set up some outdoor decorations by the weekend.

Oh dear, this after a lengthy discussion with Scoop and Tony about Commercialism!Believe me, I'm somewhat of a rarity. My closest neighbors are Jehova's Witnesses and don't partake in any of holidays that I know of.You may see videos on You Tube about families that have huge laser light shows with music and other special effects, but those are rare where I live.Hopefully, these Porcelain village decorations will appeal to the modelers in this group. What say you?
ReplyDeleteI like them, although I've not heard of Dept.56 before? The creepy gothic castle would be my ideal Halloween holiday des res, although Mrs K would need to be persuaded, ha ha. They're impressive decorations/models. Good to see you're keeping the spirit of Halloween burning bright where you are, Brian :)
ReplyDeleteWait till you see the Dept 56 Village I put under the Christmas tree.Your wife will probably like that. All in due time.

ReplyDeleteThanks ew,I wish I could keep them out year 'round!
DeleteYou should send a pic to Weird New Jersey Brian! Amazingly, I was once in that mag, about ten years ago!
