A few years back I posted this picture of a box rear that a reader had sent me. It features a series if six box sets by our friends LP.
Looking at it again tonight I thought I'd straighten it and highlight each set. Doing this I was amazed to see one of them contains a SpaceX/ Golden Astronaut -type P3 helicopter!
LP collectors among you will be used to seeing SpaceX/ Golden Astronaut -type toys in these sets but I'm not.
These pictures highlight just how connected LP's boxed space sets were to Imperial's Apollo Moon Exploring carded sets and the the larger Miniature Apollo Explorations boxed set.
What do you think readers? Have you any LP sets?
It's the other way round, Woodsy. LP delivered toys to many repackagers, incl Imperial for their Apollo Moon Exploring series and whoever did that boxed set. There's many an LP set that also exists featuring others' trademarks (or none at all). In contrast to other copycats, LP only copied the Spacex helicopter and Prospector for their range of toys (which otherwise also contained miniature knock-offs of Matt Mason toys). And yes, I have a couple of sets. :)

Just went back to the original photo which is a bit clearer, and noticed that in each of the six photos, the set bears a hand-written sticker with item nos. 901A through 901F on them. A nugget of information for anyone interested in compiling a LP checklist.
