Alphadrome's age and depth never ceases to amaze me. Brian's amazing site and forum keeps throwing up fabulous stuff from his members and all from years ago.
The latest gems are two pictures of the Moon Ship and the Moon Ranger toys. They appear in an American toy catalog from M.W.Kasch Company, who are new to me. The catalogue is from 1969 and these pictures appeared on Alphadrome in 2006 and were posted by ToyMemories. Look here.
The two pictures throw up a number of questions: are the two toys shown the American versions i.e. the AHI Moonship and the Tarheel Moon Ranger [I personally think the Moonship looks like the colouring of the UK C21 version but its hard to say], was the Moon Ranger photo taken for the catalogue, was the catalogue for the public or wholesale for traders and what does "carton/ bk. carton" refer to [bk. is dearer!] ?
Thoughts welcomed.
