The story of the JR21-like Hungarian friction rocket has taken another step forward. This new example surfaced recently on the 'bay spotted by that eagled-eyed toy shamen, Wotan. I especially like the multi-coloured fins and the overall chrome finish.
We can also see a name on the undercarraige of the toy, WZOR ZASTRZ. Anyone know what that means or is it simply a name?
The first Hungarian rocket we saw last year was this one in gunmetal grey with white fins.
This rocket has a model number on its base [which has a classic clockwork unit pit sticking out] rather than a name.
Does anyone know any more about them or have any more of these Hungarian toy rockets?
I'm leaning to WZOR ZASTRZ being a shortened version of wzór zastrzeżony which is polish for registered design. Kind of like how many toys have pat pend on them. Just a guess on my part though.
