It's a Bank Holiday here in the UK. The sun is shining and promise of the day glistens before us. I'm flying abroad in a few hours to see relatives so see you in a few days.
What are you up to in your neck of the woods this fine Monday readers?
Ive dispatched wife and extended family for a little retail therapy, im left with son and three of his mates clustered round the xbox in wanzis. Im chilling with a coffee and planning what to do with my latest collectable acquisitions!
Visit to Harrogate Toy collectors fair today. Didn't buy anything - er £575 for a mint in box Dinky 2 - wow! Also saw 3 Budgie unboxed Supercars (!), Dinky Eagle for £85, Bandai Battlehawk for £85, tons of Matchbox superfast (mostly bashed up), superfast track and various Gerry Anderson Dinkys without their boxes. Great day out just to see this stuff again. Ice cream after!
We had a four-day weekend, Friday being declared a 'Family Day' leading up to today - "Memorial Day' the unofficial start of summer here Stateside.
...And I was sick. Running a persistent fever and having a sore throat. But I still managed to go shopping on Saturday and taking pics of the Moon and watching lots of really BORING television (sleeping through half of it) :-)
