Ohhhh ... I can see it now you've said it, Paul! But I never would have otherwise. Amazing the difference that hardtop makes to the overall appearance.
Sooo, THIS is what Batman did when he retired? Went caravanning?
If you're dreaming, I must be having the same one, Woodsy. Maybe the Batcave is really disguised beneath a caravan site? What criminal mastermind would ever think of looking there in such a place?
I am Batman! Bruce Wayne is just my Gotham name. In caravanning circles I'm known as wanderin; Woodsy or Camperman, the tent-biulding superhero with super guy-rope tightening powers!
What's a "flash" car? Is it a particular kind of car or is the word being used as an informal adjective, as in "showy"?
ReplyDeleteAnd tell me, please, Mr Ferryman: is there anything inside the caravan?
Wow!
ReplyDeleteThat is an honest-to-goodness Lincoln Futura concept car towing that (in comparison vastly mundane) caravan.
In real life, iirc only 1 Futura was built, which George Barris ended up customising into the iconic Bat Car for the TV series.
Somebody dreamed up a nice hardtop for that toy, though.
Kudos to Mr Ferry for netting that beauty!
Best

It is a cool toy aint it and hopefully there'll be more Futura's appearing ont blog soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of Batman caravanning Toad! Hee hee! Wonder who went with him, Robin or Catwoman?
Well .... they are going "camping" ... so I guess it must have been Robin (grins).
ReplyDeleteI reckon they met up with the Human Torch to warm up their Heinz Bat Soup and Dr. Octopus to do the dishes double-quick!
ReplyDeleteJust found this Batman campsite but it's nothing to do with Batman! Am I dreaming?

Even better, campsites near Gotham! Ha ha!

ReplyDeleteHeyyyy, wait a minute .... aren't you Batman, anyway?
ReplyDeleteHm-
ReplyDeletethe posting below seems even more relevant after all this...

ReplyDeleteJust as I thought!
ReplyDeleteSo, riddle me this, Caped Caravanner: why is camping like a New Year's resolution?
Easy peasy, because New Years Resolutions, like tents, are easy to talk about but much harder to put into action! BTW aren't you really Poison Ivy?
ReplyDeleteMe? Poison Ivy? Only by nature, not by name. heh, heh.
ReplyDeleteYour answers wasn't quite the one I had in mind .... but I have to say your is the better one!
(Mine was, "they are both in-tents")
