This little Kinder Egg space vehicle is 'kinder' neat don't you think [pictured above, Ebay]. It reminds me a little of the equally nifty Moon Exploration Rocket Car aka MOLAB [below, courtesy of WOTAN].
and below is the original Sugar Smacks advert in Joe 90 comic July 19th 1969 [Woodsy collection]
The entire Sugar Smacks range have been blogged before in 2009 and in 2010. Have you come across any more KINDER spaceships or space vehicles?
WOTAN butts in: heres a few kinder space toys from Mars Base
There is a comprehensive German katalog to all things Kinder, called Katalog Spielzeug aus dem Ei (Fantasia Verlag). It chronicles each and every Kinder issue, including some early - and ultra rare - space-related vehicles and robots. Compiled with almost scientific precision including variations and even forgeries, I have found it a great companion to the world of the minuscule.
ReplyDeleteThat orange craft puts me more in mind of some sort of hybrid SR hovercraft. Nice little toy!
ReplyDeleteArto, where might we see or get one of those "Katalog Spielzeug aus dem Ei"? Is it a regular publication? Or a book with regular updates?
Oops silly me, here's the tiny link

Comes out once a year, I think.
Thank you, Arto. (holds out a plate of Turkish Delight) ... help yourself. It arrived on the latest supply-shuttle.
ReplyDeleteWow! Does that publication really have over 1600 pages, or is that a mistake on the part of the seller?
Mmhmmh (munching away those Turkish Delights) it's a hefty bulk of Kinderism, with so many pages in small format more like a Kinder-cube (reaching out for some more Delights)
ReplyDeleteA kinder-cube? LOL. Love it!
ReplyDeleteHere, have some more Delights. (holds out plate) ... anyone else want some?
