One Small Step for Giant

After looking into Andy Bs query on Giant brand astronauts, I knew I had seen an article on the toys in a book called 'Blast Off!'. As it transpired, there wasn't enough information in the book to fill a whole bloglet, but there was a great page in a supplement which came with the slipcased edition of the book. Rather than ramble on about it, i'm posting it wholesale to speak for itself.

On a further note, the little purple guy with the gun reminds me of one of my favourite martians which came along as rubber figures with suckers on the base and also appear in the Apollo Moon Exploring sets as small chrome versions. He's sat at the left side of the photo below in several incarnations.

 And never one to miss an opportunity to show my very favourite spaceman, heres 'Wotan' in six of his best guises!
