Feast your eyes on the fruits of my labours in the chocolate-fuelled Easter Sword Dream Factory! May I present for your viewing pleasure the Spacex II Nuclear Freighter and Salvage Craft DIY variant! The yellow Salvage Craft I call DP1 (Das Pronto 1) named after the modeller's clay I used! The Nuclear Freighter is code-named the 'red blimp' as it's basically a painted corgi airship with biro top fins! Finally, to complete the look I fashioned a 'tow rope' from a couple of miniature clothes-peg springs. Eh Voila! The original Tri-ang illustration appears at the top for comparison. The models are a bit rough round the edges but they look OK I reckon! It was fun, which is the main thing!
