Here's a great thing for Spacex/ Golden Astronaut/ LP astronaut fans like us - there are 2 issues of One Inch Warrior Magazine (sister publication to Plastic Warrior) with really well researched articles about the history of small plastic golden astronauts as appeared in Spacex and Golden astronauts sets. The articles detail their evolution, usage and ultimate fate as cake toppers, which is a fascinating area in itself! On top of this Plastic Warrior magazine did a detailed article on the bigger LP astronauts. This is now out of print.6

I really do recommend these magazines. There is so little well-researched material about these toy lines we love but these are the real McCoy!
