Ed's Buses: More!

Woodsy and Fellow Moonbasers,

Further to Terra's excellent post on tin buses, here's the ones that ended up at Vegas Base.

 My goal at first was to find buses that would either go well on an O-gauge toy train layout or, would look good when used with my toy soldiers, but they are such beauties that I did buy a couple that were way larger (like the HTC SceniCruiser which I sold off years ago).

 I have been collecting toys since '91 and my collector's tendrils have found their way into many a nook and cranny 😁 I can literally send Woodsy many terabytes worth of photos taken over the years.

Hi Woodsy, all your gallivanting around in Deutschland has put me on full Playmobil alert! Our local Art Shop in Springwood has a big toy sale on at the moment. They have also had large Playmobil Point Of Sale figures on display for ages!

I thought the Moonbasers would enjoy a snap of the Fireman (Policeman not included).

Not sure if they would be so interested in Sylvanian Families, but!

I didn't realise that there had been a Playmobil movie, in the style of the Lego Movie...

What's next? Bearbricks or Mega Bloks?

P.S. In the best FTL style, I ordered the brilliant book "Typeset in the Future" yesterday afternoon from Amazon. It was delivered in a box this

 morning! I think your readers would like it!

Me Tarzan, You Phantom!

 Funny how things coincide. Maybe Earth should be renamed Serendipity.

Yesterday I picked up this Hong Kong Tarzan (sounds like a pop song!) 

Today waiting for the train to Bonn I saw the Phantom.

Years ago I postulated that the Tarzan figure was likely to have been repainted by Larami for their 1970's Phantom Jungle Play Set rack toy. 

I've never been sure though. What do you think readers?
