I took a chance recently and bought this Chap Mei Submarine on ebay, missing a couple of bits, but overall, its great fun! About 18" long and made of a weird flexible plastic, it opens out into a neat playset complete with accessories such as a lift and a dock bridge!
Side panels open out with machine guns and a torpedo launcher and there is an opening cockpit at the front, with flashing lights and the obligatory sound bites of sonar, engines noise and torpedo launch.
What sold it for me though, was not so much the sub itself, but the vehicles inside. Made from the same soft plastic, they are imaginative and nicely detailed.
The Mini Sub is big enough to accept a Mega Rig pilot and the Assault Hovercraft have a ramp and room to carry a small AFV.
A heavily armed Motor Launch completes the trio in typically gung ho fashion!
