BIRTHDAY BATTLEHAWK

Hi,

Been collecting Terrahawks toys but on the cheap. Got this Battlehawk from ebay - above photo, lacking a lot of parts, so I've scratchbuilt them!

THE T IN A CIRCLE/ TAI HING APOLLO-X MOON CHALLENGER ROCKET BIRTHDAY MYSTERY

I've been a big Tai Hing/ T in a Circle toys fan for 25 years and the Moonbase collection is quite good.

I certainly don't have everything.

There's two toys on the left in this old Tai Hing ad in a Hong Kong Toys 1973 catalogue that I don't have, the orange car and the tall rocket.

The car I know well - the Mercedes Computer car - and often turns up on auction sites. Its listed on the blog's checklist compiled by Arto years ago http://jr21toys.blogspot.com/2013/09/t-toys-checklist-by-arto-haarala.html

The rocket is a mystery though.

As far as I know it as a Nomura toy and not Tai Hing.

Here it is on You Tube in all its amazing standing up and opening neck glory, the Nomura Apollo-X Moon Challanger.

Here it is in the box with the TN logo of Nomura Toys.

The inclusion of this toy in Tai Hing's ad is a complete mystery to me.

Does anyone have this toy or shed any light on this mystery?

Some of the other items listed in the ad like beauty and dressing sets and pull-along toys/ fancy goods would be a great interest to me for blogging too if you know of any.
