MERRY CHRISTMAS READERS

Before the presents there were decorations. 

Even back in the Sixties and Seventies.

My parents first Christmas act was to decorate the house with tinsel and baubles and multi-coloured fairy lights - and balloons - on the tree.

Only then could Captain Laser, Project SWORD and Action Man come out to play!

So in honour of their and every parent's hard work every year when we were kids here are glimpses of our own meagre festive efforts at Moonbase Central this Christmas 2018.

Another Year Older!

Well, being the useless friend I am, I've almost missed Woodsy's birthday again! I could try and use the excuse of having manflu, but im just succumbing to the effects of old age, I think! Anyway, I hope you'll all join me (as the ever reliable Tony has, already) and wish Woodstock a very happy birthday!

MULTIPLE'S MISSION

I saw this on Ebay earlier in the year.

Its a neat Mission Apollo set by Multiple Toymakers.

It comes with a LEM, a flag and three astronauts.

I also have snaps of it in my old photo archive.

This set even has the same sort of orange price tag, this one saying Rockaway or Rookaway Sales.

The box rear described the timeline of the Moonlanding.

Anyone got this set?

It would have made a great little Chrissie prezzy on the end of the bed!
