Having watched the flick Drive Angry this week I've realised that forming pacts with the Devil in order to stay out of Hell is a common trope in modern horror and action films these days.
There may be much older examples but here are four I can think of. Nick Cage features twice! Notes taken from Wikipedia.
Can you think of any more examples? What do you think?

Drive Angry
John Milton (Nicolas Cage) is an undead criminal who has broken out of Hell.
He's stolen Satan's personal gun, labeled The Godkiller to kill Jonah King, a cult leader who tricked Milton's daughter into joining his followers in the wake of Milton's death 10 years prior.
King kills her and her husband and steals their daughter (Milton's granddaughter) to be sacrificed in a Satanist ritual. King believes that if he kills the baby, he will unleash Hell over Earth.
Meanwhile, Satan's bookkeeper, The Accountant, arrives on Earth to bring Milton back to Hell and take the gun back.

Ghostrider
Over one hundred years ago, the devil Mephistopheles sent his bounty hunter of the damned, the Ghost Rider, to retrieve a document known as the contract of San Venganza, a list of a thousand corrupt souls.
Seeing that the contract would give Mephistopheles the power to unleash hell on Earth, the Rider refuses to give him the contract.
Mephistopheles appears and returns Ghost Rider [Cage] his soul, offering to take back the curse of the Ghost Rider. Determined not to make another deal, the Rider declines, saying that he will use his power against him, and against all harm that comes to the innocent.

Constantine
God and Lucifer have a standing wager for mankind's souls.
Angels and demons are forbidden to manifest on Earth; instead, their hybrid offspring influence humans.
Constantine tells Lucifer of his son's Mammon's plan to usurp him. Lucifer banishes Mammon back to Hell and grants Constantine any wish.

Solomon Kane
Solomon Kane is confronted by a demon that tells him his soul is forfeit to Satan.
Solomon rejects his fate and jumps out a window. Following this encounter, Solomon returns on the long journey back to England.
There are hundreds of reels of home movies on You Tube, especially from Christmasses past.
I have searched quite a lot for some Christmas Project SWORD and SpaceX but no luck yet.
In the meantime here's some cool home footage on You Tube from Christmas morning 1966. I assume its American.
I was blown away with the HUGE Batmobile that appears at the start. Recognising the T logo I can see its Transogram but its a new one on me. I've never seen it before.
There's also Captain Action and trolls. Beware: the film shows vintage toy boxes being ripped apart!
What do you think readers?
Here's a photo borrowed from Hake's auctions featuring that amazing Batmobile
