Even though this large scale SKY 1 model is looking it's age these days, it's still impressive. These photos were taken at RAF Cosford in 2014, and the model had been brought to the event by Phil Rae.
Phil also brought along his original SHADO Interceptor prop. I'm wondering if this was the one that he rescued from the Dinky factory, which had been used as reference for their die-cast toy.
This UFO prop was at Cosford and is owned by another mega props collector Andrew Frampton. He tells me that James Winch does own a similar one, which he acquired fairly recently.
The ambulance first seen in the opening episode, 'Identified', This, and the remainder of the props are all owned by James Winch. The top photo was taken at Andercon, and the lower one at Cosford.
This Transit van model originally turned up in The Secret Service episode, 'Last Train to Buffers Halt', however it was later seen as part of a model establishing shot of the Harlington - Straker offices, which is presumably why only the H.S. Studios logo appears only on one side. Again, the top photo was taken at Andercon , the lower at Cosford.
The Markers - Universal rig which transports the Mobiles to a UFO incident. The model uses parts from the Johnny Express toy. This prop was on display at Smallspace last year. James' is currently working on a trailer for it.
S.I.D. 2, as seen in the UFO episode, 'The Man Who Came Back'. Top photo from Andercon, lower photo from Cosford.
Last, but certainly not least the Shado Jeep, painstakingly restored by James, and displayed last year at Smallspace.
