Thanks, these are fun to do. Yes, the inspiration for them comes from little Japanese Transfer books, from the late 1950s. A very primitive style, using process colors. Your Alien Toyscapes are coming along fine so far - stay tuned! SFZ
I see what you mean - the use of primary colors hearkens back to pulp fiction art of the 1930s and 1940s, possibly where the Japanese artists got the idea. SFZ
