Problems Commenting

Readers have kindly told me that they're having problems commenting. Me too.

I'm looking into the issue. Please bear with me.

comments Issue

Having checked the Blogger admin portal there appears to be a problem with leaving comments everywhere. They're trying to fix it.

In a bid to at least do something myself Im going to re-instate CaptCha to see the f it helps. I doubt it but it's all I can do at this end. Please let me know. I don't want readers to be put off commenting.

Comments?

Is the comments facility making you anonymous? It may be linked to your Google sign-in? Let me know.

CARRY ON COMMENTING!

I hope I haven't confused you about comments readers.

Please keep commenting!

We will get back to you if we haven't already!

THERE MAY BE A DELAY IN REPLYING TO COMMENTS

We are having trouble keeping up with comments on posts, especially older posts.

Blogger has stopped emailing notifications of comments directly to me, Scoop and Bill. It appears to be a problem with Google and possibly the new GDPR regulations which came in last week.

We shall endeavor to reply to comments as soon as each of us can. Please keep commenting!

IS ANYONE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING THIS BLOG?

Is anyone still having trouble viewing the blog?

A while ago several readers experienced problems with the blog such as text from their own blog vanishing afterwards and trouble with the number of slideshows in the sidebars.

I have made a number of changes to the blog and wondered of things have improved for readers on whatever format you view?

BLOGGER ERROR HELL: *GWT.XML MODULE FILE

I have been experiencing huge problems accessing blogger for the past 24 hours. I have been unable to get into blogger to edit, post, administrate or anything active. This is the error message that has come up every time:

Tonight I have tried re-setting my PC system to a previous date and re-launching windows at a previous good configuration. Neither worked and I began to envisage expensive repairs.

In desperation I asked WOTAN what he thought, whilst checking the error message online. It turns out that many bloggers are facing the same problem and all seem to agree with the wise-one that is WOTAN.

Change Browser to Chrome. I did. It worked! Thanks WOTAN. I could kiss you!
