Went to the Coventry toy fair on Sunday. Got a few bits. 

An Ideal toys turbo jet car (haven’t seen a blue one before) .

 A Corgi Rockets set. 

A Fireball XL5 film, and Sindy’s little sister Patch, to keep the wife happy.

I rarely buy anything on eBay, but I spotted this and had to have it .

It fits in nicely with my love of Topper Toys and 60’s redline style diecast cars. 

It’s big , as you can see! 

I reckon at £60 it was a good buy. What do you reckon?

 I can’t remember seeing an original Johnny Lighting track set for sale for years.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Jim Lovell.

When me and my boy James met him many years ago we found him to be a lovely man … very chatty and happy to pose for pictures and autographs.

He really did have "The right stuff!"

I took my Morris Minor to the Rushden classic car show today. 

We put some large sylvanian figures in to replicate the original Sylvanian families car, as seen on the bonnet!
