Aoshima Time X: The Lineage of Supercars

I stumbled across this Japanese collector, godzitoraman's old page devoted to a whole line-up of Japanese Time X  Supercar kits. I'd no idea there were so many!

Mystery Carrier

 This is unusual. I saw it online and think it's a Japanese aircraft carrier of sorts.

There's lots going on, caves, domes, spaceships.

It's fabulous

But what is it?

I recently clocked this beauty in Buyee Japan, a 1960s Asahi Toys pull-back Moon Rocket. It's 24 inches long too! 

What a beauty with a box to cry over! It's reminiscent of other toys like the SWORD Cape Kennedy rocket.

Bandai Mini Vehicles - MS Clones

Re. The small boxed Bandai vehicles. I attach some images of the ‘MS’ made versions which are identical albeit they have no friction motor.

I must say I like the look of this. I assume it's a space station but I've no idea. The Japanese sense of design is simply amazing.

Tackle of the Planets

I know next to zero about Gatchaman. My mate used to collect Battle of the Planets and I guess they're related.

Part of a recent car boot bundle of cheap tackle were these two Japanese die-casts, which I've ID'd as a Jun motorbike and a Condor Attacker, mainly because that's what it says on them! 😂

Rubber Soul

The silver rocket in today's Deep Purple Piles had me intrigued, so a bit of silver surfing took me to Buyee and Japan.

Turns out it's a rubber!

It seems to accompany gorgeous Thunderbirds vehicle moneyboxes. Not sure what the green bits are. You?

 These Japanese Bandais licensed by Century 21 are the business. I love the plasticcy look of them especially this SPV.

I'm unsure if I've seen them in the flesh. Have you?
