It's a Wrap!

It's a tradition at MoonBase to make our own wrapping paper for each other's birthdays.

This year for the Missus I did some poster paint rorschaching on white paper, which turned out better than expected.

Piled up, the wrapped gifts didn't look too bad, along with cool prezzies from her friends.

E X F O L I A T E !

With Autumn whispering in our ears and trees' foliage falling already

The Missus has been celebrating her 64th with pizza, Grandkids and sunflowers.

A trip to Sunny Bank's Record Plant was fun

And We also visited the Farsley scrap store, where these metal lampshades spoke to me and said .... Dalek.

Exterminate!

And these fabulously heavy spray gun pistols, perfect for Hubley disintegrators ray guns.

At a tenner each for the daleks and the hubleys I left them there.

And The second hand baubles were cute and reminded us of Christmas in four months time!

MJ's Moonbase Anniversary Memory

Hi Woodsy, I thought I'd share this with you, going back to 2018, which I believe was the blog's 10th anniversary.

I took a flight in a Tigermoth that weekend, effectively Thunderbird 6!

I flew from Redhill to the location of Croydon aerodrome, London airport, now where Ikea is located!

The gift that we all received for that flight had pride and place at my workstation in the barbershop!!

Many happy returns and many more years to come on this fantastic blog.

Soon we'll be 17 Years Old!

I founded this blog on September 15th 2008, so on the same date this year it'll be 17 years old.
