Never used this to launch a toy rocket, but did use it, at school, on a papier mache volcano landscape to make the volcano 'erupt' . From a kid's perspective, its quite a spectacular thing.
I had this exact toy as a kid! I didn't remember the name or packaging. It was much more handy for launches than the Merit water powered rockets made of transparent red and blue polycarbonate. They were a menace!
