Just a week to go before the Cromford Mills hosts another model show. Although it's described as a Comic Con nowadays, it was originally envisaged as a model show, which is the reason I'm going.
I know a few readers on here will be going too, so I'll maybe see you there.
Here's a selection of photos of some of those attending and displaying, which I've taken at some of the past events.
Doug Stirling Stewart with a fine Space: 1999 display
Stephen and Lynn will at the Fanderson stall, and handing out Fanderson goodie bags. This year anyone who wants to join can do that on the day, and receive some extras
Jon Pertwee lookalike Scott Goodall, seen here with the the much missed Gary Holland, a mega Blake's Seven fan and a lovely fella.
Artist, Graham Bleathman signing some of his books.
A selection of cosplayers
Mega modeller, Andy Preston.
Alison Thorne, David Sisson and Simon Rhodes
Linda & Mamas Pitsillis.
Yours truly with regular blog reader, Dave C.
Some bloke wearing an original Space:1999 Helmet belonging to David Sisson.
Last year's special guest, Colin Baker, a really nice guy who was happy to chat and sign autographs.
Next Time: Stay tuned for a some reminders of the models that were on display at past events.
I'd hoped to be there this year, but, sadly, it coincides with a family event in Yorkshire, so I can't make it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time Scoop, and any other Moonbasers who go along.
Thanks Mish, sorry you can't make it. I'll post plenty of photos as it is popular with people who read the blog.
DeleteLooks to be a grand do again Scoop and yep, your usual ace photo-reportage is always keenly awaited for those of us at home or away.
