We're on the glorious Yorkshire coast this May Day: deck chairs, ice cream, trashy horror novel, the papers. The sun is out in force too! Enjoy your May Day wherever you are readers
I saw these two shells next to each other on the beach just calling out for a caption!
Where on the Yorkshire coast are you Woodsy ?
ReplyDeleteRunswick Bay today Mish. Quite beautiful. Do you know it?
DeleteCaption: look at the mussels on that!
ReplyDeleteNo, but, looking it up, you're just north of Whitby.
ReplyDeleteNice.
Moved up the road to lovely Staithes, where Captain Cook did his apprenticeship. Just enjoying half a Timothy Taylors at the Crab and Lobster before going back to Hinderwell to eat at the Badgers Hounds. We love the East Coast Mish.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely photos Woodsy. Have lots of seaside fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Hope your May Day weekend is fine and warm Arto.
DeleteI don't know the East Coast well Woodsy, but I spent the 1984 Summer season at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, working as an Assistant Designer, before I went into TV SFX at the BBC.
ReplyDeleteSounds great Mish, young, busy, getting paid and next to the sea! What more could a young man want! Scarborough used to have a fantastic vintage toy shop in the early 90's. I dragged my Father in Law there during a day trip from our caravan in Ravenscar! Don't know Scarborough well. Did you like it?
DeleteLast photo caption: "You're hogging the beach - stop being so shellfish!"
ReplyDeleteHee hee, like it Kid.
