Most of the Batman models that Hot Wheels have produced over the years have been various Batmobiles, in either the Mainline, or Premium ranges. But this Super Rigs set is a little different.
Super Rigs comprise a large transporter vehicle, and a regular Hot Wheels Mainline car for it to carry. New for 2025 (copyright date 2024) is the Batmobile Hauler, and I snapped it up as soon as I saw it.
This is basically a Big Rig, with a cab shaped like Batman's cowl, right down to a pair of Bat-ears. The detachable flatbed trailer carries a 1989 movie Batmobile.
The Batmobile Hauler is matt black, with smoke-tinted windows, and a Bat-logo on the sides in semi-gloss black (yes, it is hard to see). The trailer is also black, and features another Bat-logo just above the trailer hitch.
The Batmobile is silver-chromed, with black plastic detailing, and red rear lights. The basic 1989 Batmobile model dates all the way back to 2004.
A great addition to any Batman collection.

That thing is a monster - any kid (or gorwn-up) would be thrilled to add that to their collection. SFZ
ReplyDeleteI always wondered what Alfred would use to pick up the B-mobile if Bruce ended up dinking it!!
ReplyDeleteThat is one bat tastic rig Paul. Don't think it's been in a film but it should be! And talking at Batman, RIP Val Kilmer. Poor guy. 65 is no age now. It's my age too!
ReplyDeleteThe shop where I found this example only had the one, and I pounced as soon as I saw it. Although I have seen others since. The Super Rigs series seems to be getting a lot more interesting of late.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely on my 'buy' list for this year!
