Some comical characters on the streets of Erfurt.
These boys are in the river.
And this shop was stuffed with muppets. Or are they Sesame Street?
Some of them I just don't recognize. You?

Definitely Sesame Street. But some of those I suspect are just various hand puppets from other makers. For instance, the large rat next to Bert and Ernie belongs to Disney from the film ratatouille.
ReplyDeleteFab Lance. I adored Sesame Street, more than the Muppet show. The tip two characters in a boat must be from German comics. They're named on the plaque below
DeleteYep, Walter Moers is a German comic artist, illustrator and writer. The characters in the boat are Käpt'n Blaubär (Captain Bluebear) and Hein Blöd (Harry Dim).
