It's Wodans Day and that means car booting.
Another gloriously sunny Spring morning making rummaging in the boots even more fun.
Today's haul:
(A tenner, the lot)
I treated myself to two Dinky Superior ambulances, which I loved as a kid. Just the battery operated one to find now.
Two more Corgi Rockets for spares and a Corgi Junior Jerry's Banger, one of two which featured in the Corgi Rockets Tom and Jerry racing set, the other, Tom's car.
Big Barbie Ferrari and Action Man quad?
Lots of small Gen 1 Transformers.
A big Zord body.
Various Star Trek bits, unknown TB4, X Files cards, large boat thingy.
Assorted oddments.
Unknown weapons.
Too nice to be inside, I started cleaning and sorting the stuff in the garden, clipping parts together that seemed to fit. Many items yet to be ID'd.

The unknown weapons are Power Rangers titanus tail cannons.
ReplyDeleteSuperb. Ive added them to the body.thanks.
DeleteThe white things under "assorted oddements".
ReplyDeleteThe brown and tan chest plate next to them is Power Rangers as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Also added on. So it's called Titanus is it. Cool.
DeleteThat is an amazing haul. There were two versions of the Tom and Jerry models. The first pair from 1972 were Tom's Go-Cat (dustbin lid over Tom's head, and a machine-gun on the front dustbin) and Jerry's Banger (long barreled cannon); and from 1980 there were Tom's Go-Cart (no armament, and an exposed engine) and Jerry's Banger (short barreled cannon). Only the later models are dated, if I recall correctly. And the date is 1940 not 1980, which was a bit of a shock. That is when the characters first appeared, not when the models were made.
ReplyDeleteThe thing with the clear red tip and clear blue sides is a warp nacelle from the Playmates USS Enterprise D.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kevin!
