Holy Bat Toy!
Some photos I’ve taken in my McFarlane Classic TV series , Batcave which came out in 2021.
The hinged diorama
set, which opens up to 24", features the Atomic Pile, Batpoles, Bat Computer, Bat Memory
Bank, Bat Navigational Aids, and a large assortment of miscellaneous Bat
consoles and control panels.
Actually, things aren't really in scale with each other. The 6" Figures are a tad too big for the set, and some care is needed to ease them into the Batmobile, especially the Batman figure which has the added problem of negotiating around the Bat steering wheel.
They do fit, though, well, just about! Feel the wind in your cowl, Batman!
"Lets check the Bat files, Robin"
" Ring Commissioner Gordon, or maybe the Secret Service!".

The detail in the McFarlane Batmobile isn't as good as the old Mattel 1:12 scale version, but it's no deal breaker, and probably a lot cheaper to buy.
The figures look great with plenty of articulation, and the Batcave has a super backdrop and loads of control banks and panels.
All in all, lots of play value, lots of fun, and all for not a lot of money.
It's beautiful. If I'd had this in the 60's I would've danced the Batusi!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is, Baron. When I was a youngster and the Batman TV series was in its heyday, I seem to recall most of the spin off merchandise I got was based more on the earlier 50's Batman comic strips!
DeleteHoly Diorama Scoop !
ReplyDeleteThat's one Bat-tastic set there.
I have the Batman figure, but had no idea there was a whole Batcave and Batmobile as well. Fabulous !
McFarlane released quite few classic TV series Batman figures, Mish. Amongst the more bizarre releases, Batman is also available wearing his 'baggies', along with a separate figure of the Cesar Romero Joker, wearing his. Both from the surfing episode!
DeleteIve loved these, the scale issue reminds me of the Mego figures and its Batmobile, so the figures sit proud of the cockpit in the same manner, it is after all a toy and god love em, I will still collect and make videos ( my wife calls it "playing with space dollies) till my dying day
ReplyDeleteYou have my whole hearted support to keep making the videos and play with the 'space dollies', Marky. Holy toy time, Batman!
DeleteSorry Scoop.
ReplyDeleteBaggies ?
They're the baggy shorts that '60's surfers wore apparently, Mish.;D
DeleteI saw the Batmobile on special for about £30 new, but I passed it by. I don't have a Batcave, so where would I put it?
ReplyDeleteBatmobiles look good anywhere Looey! The mantle piece?
DeleteGorgeous set Scoop, it looks bat tastic! Lovely shots too.
