With the Missus happy gardening, I've taken a break to bag up my latest mini monster creations for safe-keeping.
Not good enough for the full packaging effort, I've placed the Cronos bug and the Lifeforce ship in simple cellophane bags.
Then I added small 'movie' labels, which we can print at home and a custom Zodiac price tag each courtesy of Bill. The missus's stamp set provided the price!
Complete and punched, here they are hung on my kitchen 'shop' rack!
What do you think readers? Mom and Pop store material?
Fascinating models with lovely custom bags and all. Lots of space on the rack for more!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Thanks Arto! It's jogged a memory too, that I once tried to create a Project SWORD toy shop shelf look. It's on MC somewhere from the bad old days!
DeleteLooks like the way they sold early computer games!
ReplyDeleteReally Baron. Interesting. I never bought any I'm afraid.
DeleteI do not recall seeing headers like that in one corner ? Can you print full width header cards for that vintage toy rack look ? The price stickers are a nice period touch. Great models.
ReplyDeleteYes - come on, half-a-job Woods!
DeleteI only have a micro printer at home Paul. It prints matchbox size images and I didn't think these quick customs justified full packaging - backing card and blister for example - from the 'art' department, but I do take your point and did think about the full shabang.
DeleteYoure going to need an entire shop for all these customs, never mind a rack! Bill
ReplyDeleteHa ha! A Tardis has just come up for sale across the road!
DeleteYes, all your customs on a giant toy rack, please! SFZ
