I've come across some stills from the Double Deckers' episode 2 The Case of the Missing Doughnut, which appears to be set in part in a contemporary toyshop in 1970!
I used to watch the Double Deckers and loved the TV show.
Did you and do you know the episode?
What can you see?
Ha! I had the Computacar Ford GT40! No Matt Mason Space Station, but!
ReplyDeleteI suspect the setting is a set, so the Art Department probably had fun!
Yes it looks great that set Looey!
DeleteI spy a spv and msv.
ReplyDeleteWow, good spots!
DeleteI’ve got this episode on vhs somewhere. Will O
ReplyDeleteNice one Will.
DeleteMelvyn Hayes (later in It Ain't 'alf Hot Mum) was in the series wasn't he?
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, that superstar Tiger took on the role of Tiger.
I still have my Hornby Clockwork Train Set....
Yes, Melvyn. I once saw him in the flesh at Memorabila at the NEC. Tiger was great in the show!
DeleteLoved the show, as it managed to make it to the US! SFZ
ReplyDeleteReally! Wow! In the US! How cool is that SF!
DeleteThat particular scene is at the end here:

There's a lot of Matt Mason in that store set, which I've pointed out higher up in that piece. But other toys are visible too. :)
