Helmets were definitely a thing back in the day. I had a Marx G.I. helmet as a kid, my nephew had a Steve Canyon pilot's helmet, and then of course there were these Hamilton's Invaders.
Thanx Tony! It is cool and so far is the only helmet I have in the toy collection (although I have a screen worn Mexican Cavalry prop from John Wayne's 'The Alamo' movie).
A great photo, and a great disguise.
ReplyDeleteIt's my new superhero uniform Paul! LOL
DeleteEd, that helmet looks like a tight fit? I hope it wasn't permanent.
ReplyDeleteActually it wasn't tight because it wasn't forced down over my fat head, but rather just sort of sat on top. :-)
DeleteThat's the kind of toy helmet that kids would grab and make an 8mm monster movie with - too cool! SFZ

DeleteA lovely vintage collectible, Ed. If I had one, I'd be enjoying it to the max as well. Super cool!
