As the night sky is fairly clear tonight in chilly Southport, I seized the opportunity to do a spot of astrophotography before the looming clouds approached.
The Moon is always a popular target for me. Tonight it's at its Waxing Crescent phase. I will try to get a few shots of the various phases as the month continues, weather permitting , of course.

My go-to Nebula in Orion.
As Jupiter is very prominent in the night sky, I thought I'd check it out even though my lens isn't capable of seeing any detail, apart from three of it's larger satellites.
