I do. There are 6 novels, detailing the adventures of Grainger, a skilled space pilot who is forced into flying a new, experimental starship, the Hooded Swan, the fastest ship created by humans. He likes the ship but really isn't a fan of the people he's forced to work for.
Looks utterly fantastic Kev, I love the shape, the colour, the weathering, the decals and the lighted smoke wool effect! Brilliant and thanks for showing us your amazing work as always.
That looks like the "Intestellar Queen" space liner from the old 1970s "Terran Trade Authority" art books.

ReplyDeleteNeat! I never had heard of the source.
DeleteBrian Stableford's books sound interesting.
Do you recommend them?

On the plus side, these are 1970s novels, a fraction of the length of modern ones!
