Slim pickins today in the charity shops. Came home with a cheap bag of dolls.
Things I passed up on:
Bigtrak
Picture of Matchbox cars
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea hardback - I used to collect Jules Verne books.
Thunderbirds curtains
Cars
Vintage art and fluffy bathroom stool
Old games and toys
More stuff including movies just for PS4's - not seen them before.
Retro piano
Sticklebricks - I adored them as a kid!
Denby Arabesque set - we bought these for our nephew.
Anything you like?
Pretty sure I had that wheeled telephone.
ReplyDeleteA Fisher Price classic Baron. Who did u phone up?
DeleteLOL probably my grandma!
DeleteI like the 20,000 Leagues book, but that Nautilus is a bit too dull and conventional looking for me
ReplyDeleteI know what mean Mish. It's the Nautilus with the big curved arches for me too!
DeleteLove the Denbyware. We have the very same set as both my parents used to work for the company from the 1960’s till they both retired in the late 1990’s and 00’s. Used to have lots of fun visiting the factory as a lad in the 70’s
ReplyDeleteFantastic. So was the factory in Derbyshire Dave?
DeleteHi Woodys It still is in Denby village, Derbyshire about 3 miles from where used to live (Ripley - birthplace of Barnes - Wallace, inventor of the bouncing bomb)
