The halls of moonbase will soon be decked with lights and baubles.
But not yet.
In the meantime here's s few festive snaps of Christmas past at Moonbase.
I love tree decs and for me nothing captures the spirit of the season like a decorated tree glimmering with lights.
My all-time fave decoration is this simple cheapo plastic Xmas box stuffed with a small tree, a teddy and the promise of something glorious beneath the paper and bow! We've had this one 25 years at least!
A new addition to the festive fold, I fell in love with Santa's floating head at Huddersfield Market one year.
Metalliced Father Crimboes glint in the soft rays......
...of the fairy lights.
Winter fun one December making my Bauble Wars Video. Little did I know that Disney would ring me the next day and ask me to make Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I refused.
Christmas 2011 and clockwork Santa inspects the wondrous symmetry of Mr. Vreede's Century 21 wrapping paper.
An dear old family friend at Yuletide 2009, the late Jose [Mexican pronunciation] Pig, re-enacts his favourite scene from Star Wars Episode 4: "Help me Obi One, You're our only hope!" [small space station courtesy of Mr. Bulloch]
I do miss this little Pig.
Crimbo 2008: the first Xmas on the blog and the day that the Golden Astronauts claimed the baubles as their own!
Pics of your Xmas decorations and toys welcomed!
Merry Xmas readers!
I've got that Red Marx Robot and wind-up Santa (two of the latter in fact). I think I've even got that astronaut (or one very much like it).
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Mini Robot was a popular toy when I was a kid Kid. I adored that little fella so much I had to get another one when I was growed up! Just thought, those wind-ups would make neat tree decs! The astronaut is LP/ SpaceX.
