 I recall seeing this before on MC, the Blue Box Secret Missile Base.

I found a loose set a few years back in Pontefract's old courthouse.

From the heyday of space plastic when trucks carried missiles through the streets! Did you ever see a real one like that? 

Anyone got the full Blue Box range?

The Dark Sight: plastic Bat Specs

 Arto picked up these terrific bat glasses this year.

I remember having a pair of these as a budding Batman.

I remember a vinyl cape and mask too. Not sure if they came with the specs.

Looey's What's the point of Sale?

I was mooching around Kaoomba's K-Mart store yesterday. I suddenly saw a Star Wars display that entranced me!

Apart from the colourful backing card, the real appeal was the little clear bubble with an actual piece of merchandise inside.

As a cashed up retiree, I was tempted to buy the entire box in one go, just so I could get the display!

Luckily my saner self intervened, asking where exactly was I going to put it.

Even my home cinema is pretty well displayed out. I settled on buying an example and taking a photo

-it'll last much longer and it's much more compact!

Ed's Moonscape - I'm Calling It a Wrap!

Okie Doke Woodsy,

I applied the last dry-brush color and will call this mostly finished. The base as you see it is pretty much done, and I can always tweak it later.

 All I need now are some sheets of black foamcore board to serve as backgrounds for when I photograph this. 

The ones I have at the house are actually too short and I had to use two sheets per side instead of just one. 

Anywho, it all worked out for this particular photo shoot and you guys are the witness to the first landing on the new Moonscape!

Lett's TV21 Diary: Another Boring Day at School!

I picked up an old TV21 Diary by Lett's a while back.

I've seen it before and always liked the fact that great illustrations of Project SWORD's Snow Train and Booster Rocket even got a couple of half-pages.

Fascinatingly this old copy has been filled in by it's young owner, back in 1971. He was definitely bored at school! 

It's a real glimpse into childhood back then. The entries end in March.
