One of the many things I regret not buying when I saw it was an old porcelain tea cup and saucer in a charity shop years ago.
On the cup in a flourished hand was the the word Vader.
It looked so unusual, the antique cup with such a famous word on it.
In reality it was a Dutch teacup for someone's father aka Vader.
I've never seen another to this day.
Have you a Star Wars related item you wished you'd bought?

I never made that connection - does "Darth Vader" mean "Dark Father"?!?! SFZ
ReplyDeleteVader is Father SF, but Darth is made up to sound like dark I guess.
DeleteMy missus has had a Cinefantastique magazine on mint condition since the 70's. It's the Wicker Man issue.
ReplyDeleteOne day when I was leaving Fox Studios in 2003, I passed Christopher Lee, just standing outside Studio 6.
How I regret that I didn't have that magazine with me...
I would have been starstruck Looey and incapable of holding even a serviette for Christopher Lee to sign! Only last night did I enjoy him and Peter Cushing in the Skull and Horror Express. Superb films I first saw as a youngster.
