I saw the post on Gordon Murray's Skip and Fuffy, which looks to be another stop-motion animated series, which was included on The Multi-Coloured Swap Shop on the BBC in the 1970s. Here is the original post.
I did some digging, but came up with very little. Skip and Fuffy appeared on the Multi-Coloured Swap Shop in 1978.
There were a couple of 30-piece jigsaw puzzles by Falcon Games Limited, numbered No1 and No2. These have '© Gordon Murray Promotions 1977 - Licenced by BBC Enterprises' on the side of the box, along with Ages 3-7, and Made in England.
According to the Wikipedia article for MCSS, there were four Annuals for the show. The first of these, The Multi-Coloured Swap Shop Book (the one with the green cover) has at least one page on the show, with colour photos of the characters.
I could not find anything on Worthpoint on the show, so these four photos are all from Ebay.

Fascinating Paul. Noel Edmunds was once the king of British TV, on everything.
