PYRAMIDS OF MARS VHS COVER FIGURES

Saw this VHS video box sleeve online and noticed the three grey figures to the right.

Are they toy figures? Does anyone know?

  1. My money is on a still off the location shooting. I'm not seeing seams around the hips or elbows. Plus they are not shiny like plastic but matte like cloth. Here's a pic of the toy for comparison. https://figurefanzero.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/whomum1.jpg

  3. A quick search for them instead of using toys as a term yields this picture

which they flipped and did a bit of editing to for the cover, mainly removing all the stuff besides the gateway pyramid and mummy robots.

    1. Fire away Kid. Looks like a great story too. I'll grab a cold beer and read it tonight. There's also some fascinating insights and memories on the Quercetti/ Rosenthal Toys link over on Paul Vreede's ace Triang Spacex Site - link in the side bar. Paul has communicated with Jack Rosenthal's daughter!
