P.E. DALEK INVASION EARTH; 2150 TALKING MICRO DALEKS

As we're talking about the 60's Dalek films  here on the blog, here's a few photos I did a while back  featuring the  Product Enterprise Micro  Daleks  based on those seen in Daleks Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.

It's a shame Amicus, who produced the films didn't do the proposed third film which would have been based on the 'The Chase'.

Of course, when it comes to micro Daleks, nothing beats the Rolykins...

  1. I like those! Quite fond of daleks. I have some in scale with an ho-oo railway and a life size one but never owned a rolykin, despite admiring them first time around!

    1. I'm rather fond of them myself,Kev, especially how they were depicted in the sixties Dalek books. I suppose that's down to TV21.

  2. Great photos, but it's a shame that PE couldn't get the angle of the two front sections on the 'skirt' right. They're supposed to flare out near the bottom, not get narrower. Also, the horizontal slats on the head-mesh are in the wrong position (there shouldn't be one in the middle, directly under the eye), though the occasional TV Dalek DID have them similarly positioned.

    2. Kid seems to know too much detail about Daleks. Do I detect a Roboman?

    3. I love Daleks - got hundreds of them, Marx bump'n'go and Rolykins amongst them. Now, where's my Robo-helmet?

    6. More significantly, they can't fit through a door!

    7. If they don't they just make a hole big enough to get through- simples;)

    8. Yep! Daleks don't like complications.

  3. Wasn't 'Aaru' the Dr Who Movies production company, not Amicus ?
    Mish.

  4. Although Amicus produced the films the 'Aaru' name was used for contractual reasons, Mish.

  5. Superb pics Scoop, as always. I note that your lovely Rolykins shot includes your moniker in the same font as the book Transcendental Toybox, the Dr. Who collectables book. Did you contribute to it?

    1. To be honest Woodsy, I've never heard of the Transcendental Toy box. The font is fairly well known as unsurprisingly called Dalek.

    2. The Dalek font eh! That explains why its on the toybox book Scoop! For interest here's one on Amazon. I haven't got one but have flicked thru one in a book shop. It looked good https://www.amazon.co.uk/Howes-Transcendental-Toybox-Unauthorised-Collectibles/dp/1903889561
