Ed's Buck Rogers Galactic Play Set


Woodsy,

I set up my HG Toys No. 892 BUCK ROGERS in The 25th Century Galactic Play Set to see how big a space the whole thing takes. 

The pieces take up all of a 30" (76.2cm) x 40" (101.6cm) piece of black foamcore. Looking at the setup also gave me ideas for future photo shoots.

 I think I need to make a base scenicked in light brown / caramel brown ground cover, vs. the black as shown in the photos. It's a busy little set with a lot going on, so any future photo shoots will utilize far less pieces. 

The backdrop graphics are designed to be displayed in a semi-circular fashion but I think placing them in a linear fashion would work better. 

Anywho, those are all projects for another day.

    Another good looking photo shoot. A base with proper a 'alien landscape' setting sounds interesting. Good luck.

    I'd have loved this as a kid.
    A whole 'other worldly' environment to play in.
    Reminds me of those cardboard theatres the Victorians played with.
