Ed's Lever Action Tin-Litho F-104

Well Woodsy.

I met with a bit of frustration trying to locate that lever-action F-104 I recently commented about.

I have one in green (as shown in your photo) as well as a silver one. Yet - apparently, I never took photos of the green version as they're nowhere to be found on the computer - and I would need to mount a full-blown excavation into The Cave to locate it.

Anywho, here's the same jet in silver.

  1. Way cool Ed! What does the lever do?

    1. Woodsy, one pulls the lever back which winds a spring just enough so as not to overwind it. Releasing the lever causes the plane to shoot forward.

  2. So beautiful. The lithography on that one is sublime. SFZ

  3. Nice toy!
Woodsy's sitting on one of my posts, tin toys in an antique shop. It features THREE F-111 tin toys!

    1. I have a rather large tin-litho F-111 that has battery operated wings that fold in and out as it rolls along the ground.

    2. I schedule posts as they come in Looey. There's a queue at the min. Sorry.
