Woodsy,
Here is a Kibri HO scale Tank Truck Station I recently snagged off eBay.
It was partially assembled and missing a few parts, but I wanted to resurrect it to go with the Kibri Esso Fuel Tanks I got many years ago.
This kit was imported into the US by Polks Hobbies, under their Aristo-Craft brand. Circa 1960.
Hope you all like it.

A great looking model in its own right, it fits in perfectly with the fuel storage tanks. With the background picture of a refinery, a complete scene in very little space.
ReplyDeleteThanks, this was a fun project, and of course very nostalgic! SFZ
DeleteThats a great ittle kit and the fuel storage tanks are really realistically done! I love models like this, just wish I had the space to build a layout so i could use them! Bill
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a train layout for years, but I still build the structures, because they are so nostalgic to me. SFZ
DeleteThat's a neat model Rob. I remember seeing ads for Polk Hobbies in Model Railroader magazine but at the time Milwaukee was home to many a great hobby shop (including Walthers) so there was no need to order anything by mail.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous model Rob! It looks ace. Great job combining the two. Have you got a nice spot to display it?
