The shuttle was a massively successful workhorse but somehow underwhelming Mish I agree. It's hard to say why exactly. It's back on Shreddies boxes tho, great artwork!

I agree with Mish - the concept of the Space Shuttle was so exciting when it was first mooted, with some amazing designs - and then we ended up with a glorified jumbo jet style spaceplane, which despite its ugliness, the Soviets copied slavishly for their Buran design! Bill
