The original 1970s series, 'Roobarb', was a fave of my youth. Created and drawn by Bob Godfrey, and narrated by actor Richard Briers, it was a glorious mix of anarchic felt pen animation and off the wall comedy. Unique for its time, I loved it. I even drew a cartoon strip version of it for a school project.
